Ok I've been with this girl almost 5 months now and she hasn't gotten me a single gift of any kind. She has 2 kids and no job but she gets $500 a month for child support. But she lives with her mom & doesn't pay any bills except phone bill (phone I bought her) and I've spent so much money on her its ridiculous,I buy her gifts I buy her 2 girls toys,food etc..But the thing that makes me think she's using me is her brother always wants her to take him 2 and from his friends house and they live pretty far from town. Well she will not ask him for gas money under no circumstances,says she's embarrassed and he's her brother. But she doesn't have a problem asking me,and I put gas in her car only for her brother to run it all out driving him around. Get this,she picks him up from work for lunch & takes him all the way home just so he can get high! And his job is 10miles from his house! Then she takes him back! Wtf?

My husband has been working 2 jobs for 15 years in restaurant. He was tired of it he wanted something better for for himself, me and our two children. So he got his class A license last year,He decided to get out of his restaurant jobs and look for a trucking job. No one gave him opportunity because of experience, so he found a trucking company in oakland, ca where the owner said he can be an owner operator only if he has 10,000 dollars deposit for a 2007 freightliner truck and he can only work for his company until he pays off the truck. Well we had about $7,000 saved up and the rest he borrowed from a bank. He started working February this year 2011 and then everyweek the owner deducts the financing, interest, and fuel from his pay check. My husband will be left with only 500 dollars or less a week out of $2000. Then the truck has been giving him repair problems $1000 here 2000 there and he asked the owner to pay the mechanic each time because we have no money to make these repairs. So the owner pays but deducts all the repairs from his checks. So if the truck doesnt work my husband cant work. My husband gets up at 1:30am comes home at 7pm. He takes about 4 to 5 loads a day. My husband realized that this is no going well.My husband thought he would be able to get his deposit back but the owner said no he cant give him the deposit back because of the contract he signed. My husband never got a copy of the contract nor this truck is under my husbands name because the owner said until he pays off the truck he will get I guess the ownership rights. He has asked the secretary which is the owners daughter, to give him a copy of the contract and a total of the payments hes made but the office makes excuses that she isn't there and so forth. On my husbands pay stub I calculated he has paid over $8000 on payments and interest. So technically the owner has made over $18,000 dollars from my husband in only 9 months. We have been behind our bills, car payments, and rent. We cant pay the loan that weve asked the bank for this down payment. The landlord has given us 3 day notice because were about 3 wks late on our rent at least 4 times now. We have no money to hire a lawyer to get our at least our deposit back. We have no money for christmas presents (thank god our kids are still to small to understand).This man has my husband working day and night . My husband has been looking for other jobs but noone has called him. I don't work I have toddler and a baby and we have no money for babysitter or have help from noone. I have looked for jobs at night but there is none. Can this man take away this money just like that? What can we do before we end up in the street.

Jake Asked: How to deal with peer pressure to drink?

Okay basically i am in a situation i am uncomfortable with:
I am away from from home during the week in loughborough, about 4 hours away from home and my lovely girlfriend, whom i love very much. I am training with an apprenticeship and it earns me good money, but the other guys on the course are always nagging me to "Go to the pub", "come out tonight", and when i decline they just nag all the more. I dont like alcohol, It's not because i have a religion that forbids it but i just genuinely dont like it, i like to be in control of my actions fully, but this never seems to be a good enough reason not to them. My girlfriend doesnt drink either, so when im at home i feel relaxed, but when im back up there im alone with nobody to back me up, and recently, i cracked under the peer pressure, and even though i didnt get completely wasted, i had gone against what i believe in and my girlfriend was very disappointed in me. I promised her that i'd never do it again.

I feel guiltbecause i feel really unsociable towards the other guys, but in a way, i dont really want to be their good friend, i joined the apprenticeship to get a career and money, so i can eventually move out with my girlfriend live happily, not to make friends with people im not keen on
I like time to myself,i love walking and swimming, this appears to be completely alien to the others, as apparently all 18 year old men should drink.

I will be away from home alot for the next two years and i'd much rather it be a pleasant two years than one that is constantly a fight for what I believe in.

I always feel awkward when i have to be around them, they just don't see it from my point of view, any help please?

She is a bit short on cash and her ex borrowed money from her 3 months ago which he hasn't returned. She was so happy and how could I say no? At first I thought it was no biggie but I went over there and he was HUGE!!! I'm talking 6"3 and 240 lbs or something. Long story short – it didn't go well and he squirted apple juice on my pants so on the way home it looked like I peed my pants.

After that I kind of put my hope on my best friend and roommate. He used to be a true bad @ss you know and I thought he could talk some sense into him. Or at least use those martial arts skills to beat some sense into him. He has been doing martial arts since he could like walk. But when he heard the story he peed himself laughing and rolling on the floor. And then when I "threatened" to go again all he said was: "At least wear a warmer jacket. It's a bit chilly today". Why won't he go with me? I know he isn't scared. Wouldn't you have gone with me if you were him?

some 15 yrs ago dad gave rs. 25000/- to one of his friend.. he came to home and mom took the money out of almirah… he said that he will return back in few months.. dad and mom trusted him and gave him on the spot… i was a kid that time probably in class 4.. i usually heard that he will give it .. but as on now 2011 he still do not have any intenstion to give it.. now i had grown up.. and i know that uncle very much.. when ever i meet him some where i remind him that he owe money to us… he says that " i will not eat your money and run away from here, i am alive and will give it before my death.. dont worry.. u do not interfere , i will give along with interest.. i still did not have money with me… i had sufferd loss and i still seaking from money from my debtors… hence i will give u as soon as possi… " i said a lot to that uncle that we can not keeping on reminding u for this.. after all it is a very small amount.. how did u survived if u do not have money in this city.. " he says: god only knows"… now i feel that he do not have any intension to give the money back.. when ever he meet me he sayd me these only.. as he gave me his number too i call him he sayd that " i will give u "… he says that he will give by march.. when i call him march.. he says that by june end.. when i call him june end he says surely by august.. and now it is over gone.. now again he says the same story and now he says that by march end for sure… i am fed up.. dad is word less.. he says that i had tried a lot dear but waht to do.. he said that he will give means he will give.. i had also talked with him many times dear.. he speaks the same story…"
my dad had also lost hope in him.. but i wont… cause money is not grown on trees and i wont let my dad's hard work and trust go vanish and misused this way.. pls giv yo valuable suggestions and legal steps…

he also do not give his home address… i know his office.. but it is always locked… he also not ready to give his home address… he says i will give money soon….it is just a respect to my dad that i wont take any police action against himcauseit will cost me a lot… and also go beyond the money which i bout to get..

i asked dad that how much till not accumulated with interset… he says that around 80000/- +… he also said that it will be more than enough if he gives back the principle amount( 25000/-)…
